This is amazing I'm about to take an airstream nest and take it off of a trailer to put it on a Triton pontoon boat and I'm just going to flip it around to where the door is on the bow of the boat an the propane tank will be near the outboard motor. It'll be a small airstream nest on a pontoon boat frame. It'd be nice if Gold shield fiberglass would just sell and ship me the molds with Airstreams permission. They really need to put these things on boats so you can utilize it still as a mobile RV and a houseboat when traveling down the interstate. My other option would be to buy a 1971 Sealander 25 footer and just restoring one. But I really like the Airstream Nest and to to a project like this I know it would turn out nice. My plans are to flip it around and put it on a pontoon boat.would definitely the size definitely wouldn't be a problem it's just figuring out everything underneath the nest in making this all fall into place.

they need to fix something, I just noticed that IF you open the door all the way, and leave just the screen door closed, you can't look out those two windows over the sink. Why didn't anybody catch this?

I have a 2012 22ft FB Bambi and it's exactly like these two . I do have a nice stainless steel Cuisinart Convection & Grill microwave which neither of these two have and a nice black '"terrazzo" vinyl floor which does not show the dirt like these light colored ones do. I def prefer the light, airy look of the Bambi vs the Caravel . While having a bigger sinks is nice, you sacrifice counter space by doing so. I like my sink with its folding down faucet and cover which makes the counter space even bigger. I would def like to get the nice white Curtain divider as the grey one that came with my Airstream does not look as good. The table is TOO big for the space so I removed mine and instead put in a height adjustable white hydraulic round table that serves as a coffee table (low) , additional counter space (high) and dining table (at comfortable sitting height)

Let me guess, they pulled the plug on this and will be paying the price for resting on their laurels for the past 2 years. How many years Airstream with no innovation whatsoever? Pebble will be the new Airstream.

I am a 2022 Airstream Globetrotter 23FBT owner. My brother in law is looking for a Class B Sprinter van conversion. I see this video and thought that I would recommend it. I looked up the price prior to sending him my recommendation. $227,000 seriously. I understand the Airstream quality. But this unit is seriously overpriced. He could buy a well built Super C for that price.

The door hinges are on the wrong side of the entrance. The door blows open while traveling if not secured properly. Just looking for an accident and/or damage.

It would worth your $ to buy a trailer if you have time go camping at least once a month for the next 10 years! Rental fee cost about $200/night. Says you go camping 3 days every month. That’s $600/month = $7,200/year. You do not need to worry about maintenance, repairs, registration fee, insurance etc.

Do you guys replace the zip Dee main awning from manual to a power one? I’d like to replace it. I can rarely get it set up on my 2021 30’ flying cloud. To lock it in I feel I need to be on a ladder above it with work gloves to grip the poles and pull them to lock in and then to ratchet up the awning height as well. I want an awning I can deploy that looks vintage like but works by power.

Great presentation. I would get rid of the TV and opt for a bigger fridge. Microwave is useless also. Need convection oven and air fryer. The table function is very antiquated. Same style as 1970 trailers. Need electric stabilizers also. Beds are a nightmare to make. Less storage and easier functioning aspects. I just want to pull up and camp.
